Transportation
Leiden can be reached in a variety of ways: by car, boat, train, bus and by air. At Amsterdam (Schiphol) and Rotterdam Airport, flights are continually landing from the major cities of neighbouring countries. The number of international flights is increasing.
In Hook of Holland (Hoek van Holland), the Stena Line from Harwich docks, travellers from the UK can be at Leiden Central Station within an hour. Inside the city, a network of busses, maintains excellent connections. Parking places for coaches can be found, for example, near Municipal Windmill Museum 'De Valk'.
