Parking

Although the city center has been made a low-traffic zone, there is a ring around the historical heart of the city that features over 3,000 parking spaces for visitors, distributed over several parking garages and large and small parking lots.

The Haagweg Parking Lot

Leiden's largest parking lot is situated on the Haagweg and functions as a fully fledged park & ride. Shuttle buses go to and from the parking lot during the day as well as at night, and you can make special arrangements for groups so that you always have transportation to the city center.

Rates

Parking in the Haagweg parking lot costs € 7.00 per day (incl. shuttle bus transportation to the city center), tel. 071-512 00 71.
The standard rate for parking for the first four hours is € 4.00. The rate after four hours is € 6.00. The daily rate after 6 hours is € 7.00  (source: Stichting Stadsparkeerplan Leiden).
